Technical diagnosis in the A1 Corridor.
Beyond the general cases, this is what we see most frequently in homes in this specific area.
Pool climate control and porch dehumidification in chalets
- Cause
- The pool's heat pump and the glazed porch's dehumidifier are usually installed separately, without being integrated into the home's overall electrical project.
- Effect
- This creates consumption peaks that coincide with the indoor climate control and trip the residual current device, and poorly sized dehumidification leaves condensation and mould in the enclosure.
- Prevention
- Include the pool and porch's electrical consumption in the same load study as the rest of the home from the outset of the project, not as a later addition — not to be confused with the pool's heat-generation system, which Spanish regulations (RITE) require to stay independent from the rest of the building, with no fossil fuels or non-renewable energy if the pool is uncovered.
- ANNA's diagnosis
- In the ANNA Passport we log the actual consumption of each pool and porch circuit to confirm the consumer unit and protection devices can handle it with margin to spare, and we check that the pool's climate-control system complies with the RITE.
Duct zoning by orientation in terraced penthouses
- Cause
- The ducted system is zoned the same way throughout the home, without adjusting airflow to the actual solar load of rooms facing the terrace.
- Effect
- Rooms facing the terrace fall short of comfortable in summer while the rest of the home is overcooled, and the unit works harder than it needs to.
- Prevention
- Adjust airflow and zoning to the home's actual orientation, not just the floor area of each room.
- ANNA's diagnosis
- We measure airflow and temperature drop at each diffuser and readjust the zoning dampers as part of the maintenance SLA, without touching the outdoor unit.
Electric vehicle charging point: chalet versus communal garage
- Cause
- In a chalet, the charger is often connected directly to the main consumer unit without a dedicated circuit; in flats with a communal garage, everything depends on whether the pre-wired infrastructure required by ITC-BT-52 exists, which isn't always included in developments already handed over.
- Effect
- In a chalet, there's a risk of trips and overload at peak domestic hours; in a community, it means paperwork with the residents' association and limited power capacity in the meter room.
- Prevention
- Request a study of available power capacity, and of the connection point under ITC-BT-52 where it applies, before buying the charger.
- ANNA's diagnosis
- ANNA produces the load study and technical project for the charging point, both for an individual circuit in a chalet and for a collective installation in a communal garage.
