- Cause
- On some Monteclaro plots, the pool's heat pump shares a panel or contracted power with the home's climate-control system.
- Effect
- During the busiest months, both systems running at once can push consumption past the contracted power limit.
- Prevention
- Assess whether the pool needs its own power capacity and panel, separate from the main house. Spanish thermal-installation regulations (RITE) also require uncovered pools to have their own heat-generation system, independent from the rest of the building, and ban heating their water with non-renewable energy or fossil fuels — a dedicated heat pump for the pool isn't just more efficient, it's the only option that complies.
- ANNA's diagnosis
- ANNA analyses how power is distributed between the pool and the house as part of the plot's general electrical diagnostic, and checks that the pool's climate-control system complies with the RITE.
